The Hunterdon County Bar Association followed the formation of Hunterdon County and the inception of our courts. Our history reports that Hunterdon County was formed in 1714 and that the initial court session was held in June 1, 1714 at Maidenhead, Lawrenceville.

Our Bar Association affords the opportunity for the exchange of ideas, social gathering, referrals and education to our members. For the past several years we have, through our strong membership, supported many philanthropic causes.

For nearly 300 years, since Hunterdon County was formed, our lawyers have helped to shape and form this beautiful county. May the tradition continue ….
