Membership

The Hunterdon County Bar Association appreciates the membership of attorneys, judges and their clerks either working or living in Hunterdon County. New members are always welcome.

The Hunterdon County Bar Association offers three tiers of membership:

Honorary Member

A law clerk to a judge sitting in or assigned to Hunterdon County, who has not yet been admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey, which membership shall be limited to one year; or a retired lawyer or judge who has been an active member of the Association for the twenty-five (25) years preceding his or her retirement. There shall be no dues payable by honorary members.

Associate Member

Any student enrolled in and attending an ABA accredited law school who lives or works in Hunterdon County, or any person qualified through education, having either a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or a paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program, either working as a paralegal in Hunterdon County or working as a paralegal and residing in Hunterdon County. An associate member shall pay two-thirds of the dues paid by active members.

Active Member

Any member other than an honorary or associate member. Each active member of this Association shall pay to the Association annual dues of $190.00 by September 1 of each year.
